Stellaris solution selected for the Audio Video Solutions and Integrated Operating Theatres framework.
Cinos Communications Services (CCS), a provider of infrastructure, communications, UC and collaboration services, has been named as an approved supplier on the newly launched NHS Shared Business Services (BHS SBS) Audio Visual and Integrated Operating Theatres framework. The new framework is valued at £100 million and has been divided into six lots.
CCS is one of 13 suppliers to have be selected for Lot 2 of the framework – Multi-Disciplinary Team Room and Conferencing Facility Room. The new framework is set to operate over two years with an optional two-year extension. During this time CCS will be providing its managed video collaboration service, Stellaris which Trusts can procure through mini competition or direct award.
With a customer base that includes many NHS Trusts from across the UK, CCS will utilise its specialist knowledge and experience to design, implement and manage its specialist multi-disciplinary team video service. Enabling NHS organisations and other public sector bodies to provide truly coordinated care either on site or remotely for the diagnosis and discharge of complex clinical cases.
The framework has been launched to provide NHS organisations and other public sector bodies with the ability to purchase all of their audio-visual requirements under the same framework. This not only provides a more cost-effective means of procurement but also a compliant route to market.
Dan Worman, CEO of CCS explained: “As NHS organisations increasingly rely on critical business applications and services, the need for always available collaboration has become crucial. Multidisciplinary teams are at the heart of some of the most complex clinical cases, so it’s important that efficient and easy to use systems are in place to facilitate collaborative working.
We’re really pleased to be part of the framework as it gives us the opportunity to support even more Trusts to expand beyond their traditional clinical settings into true coordinated care. Our team is highly experienced and has the expertise to help NHS organisations build upon their current practices and processes, in order to provide that all-encompassing approach to care which the NHS is striving for”.
